This guide is for iOS, for Android click here.

This guide will help you prevent employees from using a busybusy Kiosk device for anything other than the busybusy app in Kiosk Mode. We accomplish this by locking down the device using a system setting called "Guided Access".

What is Guided Access?

Guided Access keeps an iPhone or iPad in a single app, and allows you to control which features are available.

Setting up Guided Access is really easy, but the first time requires performing a few additional steps :

  1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access

  2. Turn on Guided Access

  3. Tap Passcode Settings, then tap Set Guided Access Passcode.

  4. Enter a passcode, then reenter it. From here, you can also turn on Face ID or Touch ID as a way to end a Guided Access session.

You are now ready to use Guided Access!

  1. Go to the busybusy app

  2. Triple-click the Home button. For iPhone X triple-click the side button.

  3. Tap Start

You are now in Guided Access mode. This will prevent employees from using the device for anything other than using busybusy.

You can now start Kiosk Mode from the side nav menu in busybusy and then you can configure the Kiosk how you want it to be configured. When configuring Kiosk Mode you will setup a PIN that will be required for anyone to leave Kiosk Mode. This prevents employees accessing any other features within busybusy. At this point, the device is finally ready for employees to use. Success!

To Stop Using Guided Access

To end Guided Access

  1. Triple-click the Home button. For iPhone X triple-click the side button.

  2. Enter your passcode

  3. Tap "End"
